Tomorrow will be the hottest ? December day in Melbourne since records began : 44°C (that’s 111.2°F in the old measure.
Memories of Black Saturday 10-years ago are still fresh in memory and authorities will be doing everything they can to avoid a repeat of that horrific disaster.
If it does hit 44 as forecast in Melbourne tomorrow, it’ll be the hottest day of any month since Black Saturday.
