A popular and controversially named foodie Popup is coming.
A phenomenon in the US, Eggslut Melbourne is coming for a short time.
In the US, Eggslut is so popular, people line up for hours to get it in cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
The Melbourne Eggslut Popup is by founder Alvin Cailan, who is coming to Melbourne city forgot a one-day burger pop-up.
Collingwood restaurant Easey’s hosts the Popup for a one-off collaboration.
The hype is real with the action coming from 8–11am on Saturday, August 10.
There are to sandwich items on the menu:
The Beverly
Soft scrambled eggs, chives, a potato cake from Easey’s, cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, the sauce in the spotlight sauce and mayo, on an Eggslut-inspired bun.
The Truff cheeseburger
An Easey’s smashed patty, caramelised onions, egg, garlic and dill pickles, American cheese, Truff sauce and mayo on a potato bun.

Alvin Cailan is the man behind LA’s most famous egg sandwich, Eggslut. He is also the host of The Burger Show, owner of The Usual NYC, AMBOY and the authority on all things burgers. Alvin will be doing a one morning only pop up at Easey’s in Collingwood.
