Melbourne Margaret River Direct Flights are Coming.

Melburnians  will be able to enjoy one of Australia’s most famous wine regions with new flights from Melbourne to Busselton ready to take off.

Qantas and Jetstar are likely to offer flights in the next 6-months or so with a $60 million upgrade to the Busselton-Margaret River region airport underway.

The beautiful Margaret River region is known for its beautiful wines, including award winning Chardonnays, as well as its high quality food, including truffle.

The local Busselton town government has been negotiating with Jetstar to start flights by 2020.

“We’re looking at finalising negotiations in the next couple of months, maybe even in the next month,” Busselton Mayor Henley said.

“We’re very confident of getting a positive outcome in the near future.”
